Position Summary
This position is responsible to ensure that an uninterrupted on time flow of product is available to meet Customer demand/forecast as agreed upon with Global Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service via the Sales Operation & Planning (S&OP) model. Scheduling, on-time delivery, optimum inventory levels and understanding of cost are essential to achieve this purpose. Responsible for Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving personnel. Oversee all aspects of cycle count accuracy and scheduled physical inventory.

Participate in conferences with Global Supply Chain, Customer Service, Engineering, R&D, Operations, Finance and Management to continuously inform them of product availability.
Oversee the shipping, receiving, and inventory/warehouse departments to ensure proper material movement through work order picking, sales order picking/delivery, and returns/receiving.
Dispose of rejected, inactive, and obsolete materials in a timely manner.
Provide management of inventories and maintain accuracy of total inventory dollar investments within established guidelines.
Provide input in coordinating the standardization of materials and supplies
Responsible for implementing strategies and actions developed using teams and/or personal initiatives to assure timely, cost effective decisions.
Coordinate with the Procurement, R & D, Operations and various departments in support of introduction of new products.
Provide input and feedback to Management regarding schedule performance and adherence.
Coordinate production control activities with Warehouse associates as required supporting business requirements
Use of business software system to ensure appropriate movement of materials
Participate in providing policies and procedures to support production and inventory planning functions.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and the ability to demonstrate everyday incremental improvements within job scope.
Manage and lead the shipping, receiving, and inventory/warehouse departments, including the maintenance of timecards and performance review/evaluations.
Establish / implements and administers a method of cycle counts to control and monitor locations for finish goods / semi-finished goods/raw material and corrugated products 
Coordinate / supervise and accomplish a minimum of daily inventory cycle counts during the fiscal year period with a goal objective of 99.0% absolute and net accuracy

Maintains and updates daily and monthly KPI’s for management reporting
Provide warehouse management personnel with daily cycle count schedule status
Coordinates the investigation and reconciliation of all identified inventory discrepancies
Maintain / provide metrics of inventory data. Initiates inventory adjustments for all inventory related discrepancies in a timely manner after the investigation and research efforts have been exhausted
Coordinates training of warehouse personnel on cycle count procedures as needed
Oversee all aspects of the annual inventory activities (planning, execution and post inventory analysis) where applicable

Education Degree
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field preferred
 5+ years relative experience in Supply Chain required
 Understanding of manufacturing operations, ERP/MRP systems.
 Understanding and experience in Operational Excellence through Continuous Improvement using lean thinking and tools.
Ability to execute and work within Strategy Deployment leadership thinking and activities.
Ability to achieve best total cost of ownership driven inventory strategies
Medical Device or ISO/FDA regulated industry experience preferred.
Strong ability to utilize a data warehouse to prepare internal reports along with ability to use Microsoft Excel to report data functionally from data downloaded from ERP system.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization both inside and outside the company.
Able to summarize issues and present facts and when appropriate make recommendations to management as well as implement solutions.
Ability to follow up with tasks and issues along with demonstrated problem solving skills are essential.
