HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join the team in our Basingstoke headquarters on a hybrid working basis. This role will be primarily responsible for the market analysis of company benefits across all of our divisions across Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
The ideal candidate is already familiar with driving such projects whether alone or as part of a team, and we will consider candidates from SME all the way through to global blue chip backgrounds, and consider proven experience over qualifications.

Partners with Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits, US Compensation Team and/or HR Business
Partners/HR Managers to deliver compensation and benefits services, ensuring adherence to STERIS policy and practices.
Educates and informs the organization about STERIS compensation and benefits policies and practices and makes recommendations based on internal and external sources/best practice.
Manage and assist with compensation and benefits related projects. Identify, suggest and implement ongoing process improvements.
Utilize strong working knowledge of employee benefits to assist in the design, planning and administration of corporate employee benefit programs including medical, life insurance, pension, group income protection programs etc.
EMEAA survey submissions and compensation and benefits studies (e.g. salary structure development and implementation, acquisitions, merit, bonus, implementation of electric vehicles, car allowance/company car programs, flex bens). Participate in various employee benefit surveys, summarize the results and develop recommendations to maintain competitive, cost-effective benefits.
Models costs and employee impact analysis and drives implementation of approved changes. Prepare cost analysis of employee health and welfare benefits including calculating annual benefit premiums, employee contributions, and benefit budget by plan and location.
Evaluates positions for grade placement based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources ensuring that all relevant factors have been addressed. Compare jobs internally for internal equity and make recommendations for grade level changes.
Compiles, analyzes and interprets data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness and makes recommendations.
Conduct periodic audits of Compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Accountability for overseeing the administration of the company’s health and welfare plans and programs.
Responsibilities include annual renewals and contracts, tracking cost trends, recommending plan changes to ensure they remain competitive and cost-effective. Develop, produce and distribute ongoing employee health
and welfare plan communications such as summary plan descriptions, benefit bulletins, etc.
Work with outside vendors on plan modifications, communications and annual renewals.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years of benefits administration experience, or equivalent gained through a combination of education and work experience.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, set priorities, organize, implement and administer effectively in all areas of accountability.
Demonstrated ability in dealing with different levels of employees in a fast-paced environment and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee data.
Excellent computer skills, especially spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
Strong oral, written and math skill
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
