STERIS is looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner, to support our Instrument Processing Operations in the United States and Canada.  

This position will report to a Manager, Talent Acquisition, and in the interim to the Director of Global TA.
As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will deliver strategic and tactical recruiting support to the assigned business or group.
The Lead TA Partner is an experienced talent advisor and recruiter coach with deep subject matter expertise on recruiting practices, market/industry knowledge, and/or established candidate network for assigned lines of business or function.


You will serve as the first point of escalation hiring teams and recruiters within the assigned team.  
The Lead Talent Acquisition partner will also support a half desk of salaried requisitions for which full lifecycle recruiting (intake to finalist identified) will be required. 
The other 50% of the time you will be expected be a subject matter expert for the business or function(s) you support, which includes assisting other recruiters within the assignment with search strategy or troubleshooting “broken req” situations and for preparing quarterly business review content together.
In addition to this you will support the Senior TA manager by providing insight into the performance, wins and KPI’s of the team of recruiters within assignment.
As the Lead TA partner for the assignment, you will also act a new hire buddy/coach for any new hires within your business group team.  This may also include accompanying them on initial calls with hiring teams and them with coaching feedback.
May lead or participate in talent acquisition projects and initiatives
Lastly the Lead TA Partner will collaborate and best practice share with the other Lead TA Partners across the function.  

Required Experience

Minimum of 7 years as a Recruiter
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program 
Demonstrated experience delivering innovative/creative TA strategy
Experience participating in large TA initiatives (projects)

Works independently as a subject matter expert but consults with TA Management on difficult issues or strategies that require additional support and guidance.
Intermediate level data/trend analysis
Able to perform and track ROI on investment to support assigned group

Can effectively consult and influence both recruiters and hiring teams
Assists in the development of TA processes and strategies to stay competitive in the marketplace
