ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton Studios London is located in the heart of Covent Garden. The three story charming space is a destination for members to meet our world class instructors and the Peloton community in person. Members can experience LIVE cycling and tread classes. We’re looking for an Assistant Manager, Concierge Experience to join the team!
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Act as a role model and brand ambassador for Peloton
Demonstrate honesty and integrity and lead by example to influence and inspire others
Ensure every member’s experience at Peloton Studios is consistently exceptional
Responsible for managing the day-to-day of staff, scheduling and seeing that all operating policies, including service and safety are being followed
Assist Concierge Manager in interviewing, hiring and performance reviews
Supervise and manage the concierge staff
Develop and document process for Concierge paid experience
Supervise the team handling pre-arrival arrangements, including but not limited to nearby local experiences and lodging for members traveling into the city
Responsible for ensuring our data reports are up to date and pulled effectively in order to track data members celebrating milestones and special occasions
Partner with Member Experience, Events and Studio Operations to create member surprise & delights and events
Become proficient in all systems, including but not limited to G-suite, Slack, Looker, Zingfit, Zendesk, Event Management Systems and website studio bot
Perform audits on team communication to members while providing real time feedback in order for team members to meet the standards and expectations of Peloton Studios
Partner and oversee events execution with any member-organized meetups at Peloton Studios
Act as event support for all onsite member meet ups, experiences, events
Oversee pre event member accommodations – catering, deliveries and pickups
Responsible for overall internal team communication between teams impacted
Act as a backup to Event Coordinator or Concierge team member with sharing rules of the studio and managing the overall flow and experience in the studio
Responsible for inventory management and ordering for concierge amenities
Handle customer issues/complaints with the utmost professionalism and work to accommodate special requests whenever possible
First point of contact during customer concern
Act as a main point of contact for any members coming in with a disability
Communicate requirements to fellow team members and leaders
Assist with overall experience for member while on-site
Understand team member positions well enough to perform duties in team members absence
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
Experience in hospitality, event management, luxury sales and/or customer service arena
Ability and desire to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members
Uncompromisingly high standards when it comes to detail and accuracy
Ability to excel and empower staff in a constantly evolving, diverse environment
Able to recognize areas needing improvement, make changes and resolve issues using good judgment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and customers
Understanding of employee positions and willingness to perform duties in employees’ absence
Professional and appropriate business appearance and demeanor
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
As this is a customer facing retail position, you will be required to work on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical essential functions of the job also require that all employees are able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, early morning and late evening weekdays, adapting to meet the needs of the business
Bilingual is preferred (but not required) as we hold German speaking classes and cater to German speaking members
