ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is seeking a Director to oversee and transform our Reverse Logistics and Refurbishment network. This leadership role will be responsible for Peloton’s processing of returned products, refurbishment strategy, processes, SOPs, programs, and network. In this role, you will be a key contributor on our leadership team in developing and executing the strategies to drive an efficient but very member focused experience. This leader will develop recommendations and improvement opportunities through the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques as well as using knowledge and expertise of refurbishment, warehousing and transportation.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Develop and lead a Reverse and Refurbishment strategy to meet Peloton’s business objectives for Member experience and cost objectives.
Oversee the management of all global refurbishment centers and/or vendors.
Develop and implement the strategy for inventory care and accuracy of all refurbished CFUs from ingress to outgress of units at distribution points.
Establish department goals and organize workforce to accomplish results within budget and on schedule.
Build financially sound, executable, data-driven business strategies and solutions, to create and improve operating performance.
Responsible for managing external relationships and effectively communicating with third party service providers on all aspects of the program to include program execution, IT interface, customer service, risk management and growth.
Be the company expert for industry trends, technology and macros, tailwinds, headwinds and competitive positioning.
Build a top performing operational team and instill a culture of accountability, results and flexibility in order to meet/exceed customer fulfillment expectations.
Assure compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations related to returned product and refurbishment.
Expected Travel <33% YOU BRING TO PELOTON Bachelor degree or equivalent level of work experience listed below 5+ years of experience leading direct reports in reverse logistics, appliance and/or device refurbishment and direct to consumer operations. 5+ years experience working with, leading and developing 3rd party relationships to support refurbishment programs. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and continuously improve the member experience as well as reduce costs. Ability to benchmark and define KPIs, and metrics pertinent to the role. Outstanding communication skills, able to build strong relationships and influence/negotiate with cross-functional teams. Strong strategic thinking skills coupled with demonstrated ability to be hands-on and tactical. Demonstrated skills in solving complex problems within supply chain, and refurbishment management. You have built and implemented a detail-oriented organizational and process management process within a supply chain organization to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
