Role Summary:

As the Senior HR Business Partner based at our Desio manufacturing site, you will be involved in the full scope of Human Resources activities for the 270 staff in our Italian sites and elsewhere in Europe, working alongside local colleagues and reporting to the Country and Divisional HR Manager.

Responsibilities & Requirements: On a daily basis, you will:

Partner with all levels of people managers to provide professional-level consulting and decision- making support for all aspects of the talent lifecycle
Practice and demonstrate a high level of competence and professional HR knowledge, tactical skills and expertise, whilst thinking strategically about talent issues to remove potential barriers to Flowserve’s continued success.
Leverage the company’s HR “toolkit”, including myHR, HR Shared Services, policies and programs to address a broad range of HR topics for all associates
Lead local labour relations, including unions and work councils, and employee relations Lead and ensure flawless execution of specified initiatives, including realignment, acquisition, integration, and other global and local projects
Develop, deliver, and manage global HR solutions in the areas of Rewards, broad-based HR programs, project management, systems and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will need:

At least 6-8 years prior HR generalist experience and knowledge and previously as Specialist /CoE in the Talent Management area, ideally in a multinational and industrial environment with a matrix organization
Strategical thinking: anticipate challenges and address issues that benefit the organization, enhance the organization or resolve potential problems
High level of technical HR knowledge, skill and expertise, including company programs, policies, legal, theory and tools
Ability to understand the need for change and adapt to change
Ability to convince other on proposed courses of action, be firm but be diplomatic at the same time
Fluent English and Italian language skills, both written and spoken

Preferred Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Economics would be preferred, but a combination of great practical experience, professional HR will be favourably considered.
