WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Alternative Delivery Consultant for our Washington, D.C. (and other offices across the country) office.
Introduction

WSP’s US Advisory practice is dedicated to transforming the business of infrastructure across the transportation, buildings, energy, environment and power sectors. We guide our clients through solving some of their most complex infrastructure challenges by providing a unique combination of engineering principles, technology, and management consulting skills.

Your Impact

Guiding public agencies and private sector clients through the delivery of capital projects ranging across the spectrum of transportation, rail, buildings and other types of capital assets
The Alternative Delivery Consultant will advise agencies on methods of project delivery and the financing of capital projects, with an emphasis on alternative delivery methods, including Public-Private-Partnerships (P3), design-build, CM/GC and CMAR.
Strategizing with agencies and asset owners to evaluate project delivery methods and determine the optimal method to fit the owner’s needs
Interfacing with project owners to determine the goals and constraints for the implementation of their projects
Developing risk profiles for projects, which includes drafting risk matrices that identify critical risks, facilitating and attending risk workshops and evaluating the allocation of identified risks for project delivery.
Developing strategies for change management and alternative delivery project implementation, and setting up the process for agencies to implement these strategies over the life of a project
Actively contributes to client relationships (both internally and externally)
Working within a multi-disciplinary team to support, and/or lead the delivery of complex consulting projects across infrastructure sectors including water, transport, energy and social 
Independently perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, document findings, present project outcomes and manage client relationships
Support the professional growth of our junior consultants within the Alternative Delivery (ADAS) group. 

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 
7+ years’ experience in directly relevant endeavors
Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills, including practical experience with financial modeling 
Desired evidence of leadership qualities and ability to network with clients and others in the field
Management consulting or advisory experience is desired
Demonstrated ability to synthesize problems, think creatively, work independently, and deliver high quality work with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present analytical results and recommendations
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.

Expected Salary: $85,300 – $174,200
